Meet Our Wish Kids
Seven-year-old Kristal
very gladly shared her heartfelt wish with her Make-A-Wish® volunteers,
because she'd wanted something special for a long time already.
Like most kids with siblings, she really longed for a beautiful bedroom
of her own.
Kristal took incredible
delight and joy in describing the specifics of her dream bedroom.
Captivated by the moon and the stars, she imagined a galaxy that existed
in her own space. After spending countless hours conjuring up different
color combinations, it was time for the real magic to begin about a year
later. Now that Kristal's parents had become proud new homeowners,
she was eager to decorate her brand new room. 
From notebook pages laden with descriptions of moon and star
items, a wonderful bedroom full of furniture and decorations materialized.
It was all so perfect, that Kristal's mother remarked, “It all looks
like it was made just for this very room.” Kristal beamed as her dream came
true… piece by piece, and star by star. And, as she falls
asleep each night and gazes into the glow-in-the-dark galaxy above her,
she can't help but wonder which star she wished upon to be so lucky.
